BIO
Cross Out Aether is the solo project of singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer Marceline Li. Raised between the US and China, on opposite sides of the world, and coming of age as a trans youth, Marceline turns distance and displacement into intimate, unguarded songs built on haunting melodies, confessional lyrics, and interweaving guitar riffs. Marceline doesn't like to confine her sound to a single genre or style, but if you're a fan of bands like Pierce The Veil, Paramore, and My Chemical Romance, you might like what she has in store for you.
In the works since 2025, Cross Out Aether will be introducing itself with the debut single "Don't Come Closer" on December 1st, 2026. It is the first look into the story of the upcoming concept EP "Azalea" (Coming April 6th, 2027). The story? Azalea takes root, blooms, withers... No spoilers!
